Hi Herman!
I took many pics as I moved the D2S into the fixture at .5 mm
increments. I'm sending you, stock position, middle pos. and 2.5mm depth
position. Also a pic of the screw towers (essentially the hole the screw
fits into) stock and modified.

All photos are taken from a tripod at the same position, against a sheet
of drywall (sheet rock).
I used my spare H9 fixture with 2.5 mm of material removed from the
three screw towers and a hand full of .5 mm spacers.

The first three pics are stock location (original) with 3 different tilts:

FURTHER IN COMBINED WITH TILT:
The next two are; 1 mm in, one with ,5 mm tilt.

And two are; 2 mm in, one with .5 mm tilt. When I say .5 mm in, I mean
that a spacer has been removed form the top screw.

Last is; 2.5 mm, no tilt.

Notice the light on the floor diminish as the bulb moves inward and also
that the hot spot never seems to really surface without a tilt.
Perhaps the Osram would fit this fixture better seeing how it's hot spot
is lowered. Have you figured out why it's lower? Is the capsule centered?
All and all, I favor the original with the 1-1.5 mm tilt. However, I
haven't checked to see if the glare has increased as well with tilting I
have many pics between these. Let me know if you would like to see more.
